Thank God, Act Two is over. One more to go. The best part of the play is always the last Act. Nora is still acting a little like a child. She is acting sneaky, and a little anxious in Act Two. Nora acts like Torvald will do anything for her when Nora says this to Mrs. Linde"Yes, that's quite right Kristina. You see, Torvald's so incredibly fond of me that he wants to keep me all to himself as he says". (Ibsen, pg 184). Sometimes Nora takes advantage of Torvald's feelings towards her. She tries to persuade him to keep Krogstad at the bank to help herself. She starts to feel a little anxious about the letter that Krogstad sent to her. It was excruciating to Nora because she didn't want Torvald to find that letter because it would make her disreputable.

Nora knew that Dr. Rank loved her, and she was going to try and ask him for the money. Mrs. Linde seemed concerned with Nora because Nora looked like something was wrong. Mrs. Linde said to Nora "Don't pretend, Nora. Do you think I don't know whom you barrowed twelve hundred dollars from?" (Ibsen pg 185). Nora was acting sneaky when she lied to Torvald saying that she wanted to practice the tarantella dance instead of reading the mail so he wouldn't see the letter. I'm looking forward to act three because I think Torvald is going to find out about the letter.

  2. Nora uses Helmers love as an advantage for her. Sooner or later Helmer will find out about the letter and Nora will get caught. Your blog is very good, keep it up

  3. Nora was acting so childish around Torvald and Dr.Rank. I felt bad for Dr.Rank that he had feelings for Nora and she didn't care. I wonder what Torvald would do to Nora if he finds out. Nice blog "John"!!!

  8. I agree with you with Nora being sneaky. I think Krogstad and Mrs.Linde knew Helmer didn't care about Nora, by sending the letter , that's part of the reason why Mrs.Linde changed her mind, and told him not to get the letter back .

  9. I agree that Nora is very sneaky. It was very suprising that dr rank confessed his love for Nora. Also who knew that Krogstad and mrs.linde had once a serious relationship
